Full-time faculty member at St. John’s University School of Law since 1994, where I teach legal writing, contract drafting, and scholarly writing
​A few highlights from three decades as a Professor of Legal Writing at St. John's Law School:

Co-author of two workbooks for legal writing, one for objective writing and one for persuasive writing, as helpful resources for beginning legal writers at all levels – college, law school, and for LLM programs.

Author of professor's guide to teaching contract drafting.

Since 1994, regularly presents at national conferences and serves on national boards.​

Author of numerous articles, book chapters, and essays centered on teaching legal writing, drafting, and scholarly writing.

Taught law-related classes in China, Rome, Italy, and Ukraine

Conducted the first empirical study in a law school on learning styles with Dr. Rita Dunn
